According to Coin Metrics, last month bitcoin miners earned a total of $ 368.3 million, which is 23.2% more than in July..

Analysis of the dynamics showed that in August, miners’ income reached the maximum level in the last 3 months, since the May decrease in the remuneration for closing a block from 12.5 BTC to 6.25 BTC. Due to halving in June, miners’ earnings fell to a 15-month low and amounted to only 281.6, a decrease of 23% compared to may.

The Block researchers also note that over the past month, the share of transaction fees has grown from 8.5% to 10.7%..

However, the increase in income from bitcoin mining seems insignificant compared to the increase in the same period, Ethereum miners earned 98.2%, largely due to a 40.5% increase in transaction fees.
